Hi I'm Kerry, founder and lead practitioner at Between Humans.
Before training as a coach therapist, I spent over a decade co-directing start-ups in engineering and compliance. Somewhere in that work, I realised what I cared about most wasn't the businesses themselves, it was supporting the people in them to grow. That realisation became my purpose, and eventually led me to retrain as a coach therapist.
Since that time, I have completed master's-level qualifications in both coaching and therapy, I am a Registered Member of the BACP, with a specialism in neurodiversity. I've had the privilege of working with many private clients, as well as corporate clients across a wide range of sectors including; scientific research, pharmaceuticals, compliance and risk, engineering, AI and app development, the music industry, media, banking, construction, the arts, the care system, private education, higher education, and charitable foundations
I'm currently completing a Doctorate in Coaching and Mentoring at Oxford Brookes University. My research focuses on developing a specialist model for coaches and therapists working within neurodiversity - grounded in how differently people experience and process the world, contributing to more effective, carefully tailored approaches in this emerging field

Between Humans exists to provide support that's considered and human, willing to sit with the uncertainty and complexity real change involves, rather than rushing to resolve it . Our expertise in neurodiversity shapes how we work with every client, whatever they bring, not a category to place someone in, but a lens that helps us understand them more fully.
We're not here to help anyone fit a mould, of any kind. We're here to help people grow and change sustainably, on their own terms, with a deeper understanding of how they work and what they need in their career, their personal life, or both
We take a more integrated approach than standard coaching working with the whole person, not just a professional role or a presenting problem. We begin where the client is, not where a framework says they should be.
Some clients need therapeutic space before forward-facing work becomes possible. Others arrive ready to move more quickly. We read that in the room and respond accordingly, challenging where we notice dissonance, providing structure where a client needs it, following where they need to find their own ground.
Discretion is fundamental to everything we do. A number of our clients are recognisable in their fields, and their privacy is treated accordingly.
Our practitioners are highly qualified coaches and therapists with specialist expertise in neurodiversity, alongside real-world professional and personal experience of their own. Some hold qualifications in both coaching and therapy; others bring deep expertise in one discipline.
All practitioners are registered with relevant professional bodies and work within a rigorous ethical framework, with confidentiality and clinical supervision built into how we operate. We're approved to deliver Access to Work coaching, supporting clients who access their sessions through that scheme. Whoever a client works with at Between Humans, they can expect the same standard of professionalism, care and consistency.
